Loved this one!
Teague is a likable character with ethics and real emotions that are refreshing to see in a male protagonist. Despite them none of his strong masculinity is lost, so believable is the writing. Teague, Vivian and the supporting cast made up of their two families meld together with building tension. Near the beginning Teague takes Vivica on a date in which she meets half his tight knit family at a family owned fish restaurant. When he arrives home later that night he senses people outside his home watching him, which proves accurate. From that point on in the story the tension of revenge, intrigue and fear grip the reader as he and Vivica become victims of one viscous twist after another making it hard to put the book down . . .
Brilliantly intertwined into the story line are the PTSD flashbacks Teague experiences that are triggered by those after him. Scenes of lovemaking and Vivica getting him to talk, to open about his experiences, are interspersed to show the deepening of trust and love into this already heated passionate relationship. The rollercoaster ride of emotions doesn't let up taking the reader into one scary turn after another. No spoilers on how it ends . . .
I enjoyed this authors writing, the crisp realistic dialogue, and the sexual scenes that were titillating but not overly descriptive. It was a really enjoyable read that grabbed my attention and held it from the beginning right up to the last page. ~ Paulette Mahurin, Amazon

Lots of action from the get go.... There's passion, love, family, bikers & fighting... What else could you possibly need from a book....
Teague meets Viva by a whim. After a strange occurrence of events,turns out to be family that's the enemy.....
It's strange how two completely different worlds collide in this book...

Fantastic and fast paced
This story has something for everyone, humor, action, intrigue and enough steam to fill a sauna. The characters are well rounded and the story keeps coming at you. Just when the reader thinks all is calm, BAM; more action. Miss Oakes ties the book up in a nice little package complete with a happy ending.

Dellani Oakes' The Ninja Tattoo is a great read, filled with thrilling intrigue and romance . . . The rollercoaster ride of emotions doesn't let up taking the reader into one scary turn after another. No spoilers on how it ends . . . Why Can't I Find a Guy Like Teague? . . . Teague . . . is the perfect hero! I wish he were real! *Sigh* Teague is a former marine with a dark, tortured past, he is part bad ass but 100% good guy. His love interest Vivica, wasn't all that impressive in the beginning, but she redeems herself in a big way towards the end. Be warned, there are several really hot love scenes that will have you needing a cold shower. I don't want to put any spoilers in here, so I'll leave it at that.
Hollywood ought to take notes and start making movies based on these sorts of books. It would save a lot of couples arguments about what to watch on movie night LOL! This book has the realistic male characters that guys love, along with all the girly romance stuff women love. I think the author blended both worlds perfectly.
